Meet Glenn! He is 2 1/2 yrs old and looking for his forever home. He is 80 lbs. Glenn is fearful of new people and it takes him awhile to warm up. He will need several introductions to feel comfortable. Once he trusts you, he is amazing! He becomes a silly, funny, playful guy! He can entertain himself with a ball, benebone or Kong. He is is always pulling out all the toys from the basket! He likes a nice soft bed to chill in. Glenn loves to be outside and prefers to be where his humans are! Glenn is very treat motivated and extremely smart! He has been through obedience clicker training and responds to several verbal and hand commands: sit, down, break, come and place.
Glenn does well on a leash but needs more training when other dogs and people walk by, so at this time, we are requiring a fence for him. He is potty trained. Glenn is kennel trained and will go in as soon as he sees a kong. He has been making new dog friends and loves to play. Slow introductions are also needed when meeting new dogs, but he met so many new friends and has been great with them, especially puppies! He loves all the foster puppies he meets!
He has a rough play style and does not realize his size. He would need continued training to build his confidence and an enriching environment to keep his skills sharp. He is looking for someone who has patience and is willing to work with him. He will be your absolute best and most loyal friend!
