Meet Cottonee, a delightfully soft little bunny who was found abandoned in the woods along Graham Road alongside his buddy Bunnelby. With a little coaxing, our amazing team got him into a have-a-heart trap and to safety. Life may have started off a bit like a tough early-game route, but Cottonee has quietly shown he's full of potential. He seems to be settling in well with the patient care of his foster person, who's discovered that he's fairly treat motivated, and is adding new skills to his personal repertoire, including some clicker training! He'd likely thrive best in a very Zen, calm house, with someone who can help him to thrive and continue to build up his bag of tricks as a way of bonding together. He also prefers socializing from the floor as is typical for rabbits, and tolerates being held for a little while.
Cottonee is reliably litter boxed trained, though he prefers a wide and tall litter box for complete comfort. He's definitely a shy guy who'd likely feel most at ease in household with another bunny friend. So if you're the kind of person who understands that the best friendships take time to grow, Cottonee might just be your perfect companion. Stop by and meet him at our adoption center Wednesday-Sunday 12-4:30 (Thursday 12-6:30).
