Meet Dustan. This handsome big boy came to us from a home with too many cats. We don't have history of him with dogs or kids, but if you have either in your home, our adoptions team will be able to provide you with information on doing a slow and safe introduction.
Dunstan spent a little bit of time in a foster home while he waited for a room to open up (and to make sure he was ready to learn how to be a regular housecat). When he first got to his foster home, he was a little nervous, but did open up and come out of hiding. He participated in normal cat activities, like drive by pettings and head butts (and oh, man! His headbutts are STRONG!!) He does like chin rubs and full body pets. He'll even flop down and lay on his back to show the belly (It's a trap! Do not pet the belly!) Like a lot of cats, he's not a fan of touches around the base of his tail.
