Hello everyone! Do you want to come play with me? I'll show you all the best squeaky toys in the shelter. I'm Kalina (27 pounds), and I travelled all the way to NY from Louisiana. It was a big change, but I think I'm ready to find my new family. New humans are sometimes scary at first, but once I get to know you, I will definitely want to play! As a young dog with nervous energy, I will need someone sturdy and patient to help me learn the best way to have fun! Other dogs are kinda weird to me too. I get pretty defensive when someone wants me to meet their dog. However, maybe there is a dog and person combination out there that could make it work! My friends in adoptions can facilitate a meet with your resident doggo once all the hoomans meet me. To meet me, stop by the shelter Tuesday-Sunday 12-4:30 (Thursday 12-6:30).
