Meet Ruby! She is a 56-pound girl who came to stay with us after her owner had an injury that prevented them from being able to give her the time and attention she needed. She is on the shyer side but warms up once she's met you a couple times. If you come to her with treats, even better! Her previous owners described her as cute, loving and smart. Her friends here at the shelter agree with that description! She'd do well in a home with older kiddos and people who understand that she might need some time to warm up to strangers. Other dogs might be too much for her to handle, so she might appreciate being an only dog. She hasn't lived with cats, so we aren't sure how she'll do them.
