Sanford is a big, handsome boy with an even bigger heart, ready to find his forever family by the beach! This strong and spirited pup is full of love and looking for an active home where he can thrive. Sanford came to us through no fault of his own-he's just a bit too strong for his previous elderly owner. He did previously receive treatment for heartworm & dental disease as well, and thanks to some very generous donations, his adoption fee and medical costs are fully covered! We think Sanford would be happiest with a fenced yard and some space to stretch his legs, but he'd also do well with daily walks-as long as his new humans are ready for a strong walking buddy! Because of his size and strength, we recommend a home with children 12 and up, and we'd love for Sanford to meet any resident dogs to ensure a great match. Lastly, Sanford has been on multiple outing through our beach buddies program and he has done very well! He loves going on walks, sunbathing, tug of war, and just any chance he gets to run around & play! Sanford has so much love to give and can't wait to share his life with someone special.
