Meet Dexter and Lily. Dexter and Lily are sweet cats who have a lot of love to give. Don't let their shy demeanor in the shelter fool you, they are very friendly and get along with adults and older children alike. Younger children may be a bit too much energy for this senior pair, so we recommend a home with children 10+ years old who will respect their boundaries. Both kitties enjoy playing (and boy do they need play sessions to help them shed some pounds) and they like being brushed. Dexter and Lily have never lived with other animals, so we recommend a home without dogs as loud noises can scare them. They may do well with another senior cat provided there is a slow introduction. Lily needs a dental procedure, so there is an added cost to her adoption fee. She cannot have this procedure until she loses weight, which she will do better in a home.
