Sampson is a very sweet boy with a playful puppy-like demeanor. He enjoys chasing a dog friend around the yard, as well as some ruff and tumble play.
Sampson loves to play with toys! He loves chasing soccer balls and tennis balls, tugging on a rope, and squeaking any squeaky toys he can find!
Sampson knows "sit" and "stay" and is crate trained and housebroken and will go in without a treat, but is very appreciative to get one!
This cutie absolutely loves being outside and can frequently be found laying in the grass or basking in the sunlight or playing with toys! He loves being sprayed with the water hose and even rain doesn't deter him from being outside (he is okay with wearing a rain jacket though!)
Sampson will sit politely at the door (with his whole butt wagging) while I put his harness on. He does well in the car and is always excited for his walks.
When he's not playing or on a walk, he loves to relax around the house. He is definitely a cuddle bug! He always wants to be near his person or his dog siblings. Sampson doesn't always take social queues to give personal space.
Sampson would do best in a medium or high energy home with active adults that are home often or can take him with them often. He could do well in a home with children, and would absolutely LOVE another medium or high energy dog at home to play with!
