Meet Tyson!
Tyson is a sweet, happy 1-year-old pup who loves to play and spend time outside. He is great with other dogs, has lived with cats and is an all around good boy.
One of his favorite things to do is lay in the sun, and isn't in any rush to come back inside until he's decided he's done sunbathing.
He also loves running through the sprinkler and going for walks. He walks great on a leash and is always excited for a car ride.
Tyson is very friendly and loves meeting new people. He'll often walk right up to someone, sit politely, and wait for pets with his tail wagging. He already knows "sit" and "wait," and is a good listener.
He enjoys playing with other dogs and would love a dog friend in his new home. Tyson has lived with a cat in foster care, sometimes he's curious and may give a small chase, but he usually prefers to play with his toys or relax on a dog bed.
Tyson recently had a hip surgery called FHO, thanks to Friends of the Shelter, a group that helps dogs at the shelter get special medical care. He's healing well and getting stronger every day. He's available through our Foster to Adopt program, and his medical care will be fully covered while he recovers.
