Gertrude is a snuggler, first and foremost! This sweet girl loves to do "the lovie lean" and be right next to you as much as she can! Gertie is approximately 4 years old, spayed, is quickly learning commands with her foster family, does well in her crate, and LOVES to be a lap dog.
Her foster's Gertrude may be a Boston Terrier/Boxer mix--when she goes outside her ears adorably perk straight up like a Boston! She is very smart and medium energy. She is very well behaved in the house.
Gertrude adores people but needs a few minutes to warm up to new faces. She is working on slow intros with other dogs--she is learning to stay calm but isn't quite there yet. We think she could be very good friends with a calm but playful dog and would do best with no small animals at home. Gertrude would love a family with older children--she adores snuggling with her teenage foster sister for hours on end!
