Dirk is a 3-year-old bundle of courage, joy, and love who has redefined what it means to thrive. His journey with us began last October when he came in with an injured leg. Despite our efforts to save it, the damage was too severe, and Dirk's leg needed to be amputated to ensure the best quality of life for him. Since then, Dirk has shown us that three legs are more than enough for him to live his best life. This boy is unstoppable! He runs, he jumps, and he greets us every day with the most heartwarming hugs. His favorite thing in the world? Stuffed animals! Dirk always has one in his mouth and is happiest when he's surrounded by his plushy collection. When he's not showing off his playful side, you can find him curled up on the couch, living his best couch potato life. Dirk is loyal, loving, and ready to find his forever family-a family who will celebrate his resilience and spoil him with all the stuffed animals and cuddles he deserves. Dirk is selective with other dogs and prefers dogs that are mellow and won't jump on him.
