Casino was transferred to Valley Humane on 5/13 from Stockton Animal Services along with her siblings. They had been found stray. Casino weighs 11 pounds. She was diagnosed with a skin mite called demodex. Demodectic mange is not considered a contagious disease and isolation of affected dogs is generally not considered necessary. She is currently under treatment for this condition and is expected to make a full recovery.
