Laura Garcia was found stray but is now spayed, chipped and ready to find her forever home! She is a lithe girl; weighing just 8.3 pounds. Laura needs to take time to warm up to new places and environments; when she is comfortable, she is always extremely friendly and welcomes head rubs with lots of purring. Laura gets along extremely well with the resident cats in her foster home. She follows the younger cat around the house having adventures but also fares well with an older grumpy cat who prefers personal space; Laura knows how to take cues from both and gains confidence from her feline companions.
Laura Garcia was diagnosed with Feline Pattern Alopecia. This condition where cats go bald by their eyes and ears, similar to male-pattern baldness in humans. This is not contagious and does not affect the systemic well-being of the cat. There is no treatment needed, and the balding is typically not progressive.
