Hello, my name is Pickles and I'd love to meet you! I'm 10 years old and am happily getting used to living in a cozy home again.
I love commanding the attention of all humans in the house and hunting with my wand toy with long fleece or bird attachment. I'm still impressively agile, energetic and fun, and have a lot of mileage left to enjoy. When I'm not playing or accompanying you around the apartment, I love relaxing near windows to watch what's going on outside, or perching in higher places.
My longer coat is becoming more and more gorgeous and fluffy, and I absolutely love being brushed! One of my favorite tricks is flopping and rolling around on the carpet while you admire me and give me a few gentle pets.

I'm a social kitty and like to use my voice to let you know when I'm ready for attention. I love talking with my humans! My fluffy tail also quivers when I get excited!

My foster parents think I'd enjoy a calm environment where I am given ample time to get comfortable with my new people and space. At times, I can get overstimulated during playtime or pets, so I'd do best living with someone who can read my signals and allow me to have space when needed. I have a LOT of affection to share and I promise that you won't be disappointed once I start opening up!

I'm a flexible eater, and have been enjoying my dry food, as well as Churu treats and some wet food. I am also very well house trained.

Why don't we meet? I just might be your purr-fect match!

The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more.

Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.

** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate you're understanding and patience.
