Nigel is a big roly-poly delightful boy kitten and the largest in his litter. He has a sweet disposition and will make an excellent lap cat. He has crawled into his foster mom's lap since a tiny kitten. He loves a huge variety of cat toys, climbing cat furniture, stairs and carpet cat posts but his favorite toy is a long piece of surgical latex tubing dragged on the floor. He is quite the character and will fit into a home of any activity level with dogs and kids. Nigel would love to find a forever home with his sister Fiona (A0060742722)!
This litter has been in foster since they were 5 days old. He has been handled and played with every day multiple times a day and is extremely social. He has had his nails clipped and will be used to his new owner handling his feet for nail clipping. He has met a cat friendly gentle dog several times and was fine after the first 10 minutes. He has met and been handled by children and is kid friendly. He eats canned food and kibble, and is fully litter box trained. He figured out how to use the big cat litter box easily on his own, though this was comical considering his size.
Note: Kittens are available first come first serve upon meeting them, so no need to decide which kitten(s) you are interested in until your visit. Please know that some of the kittens in a litter may no longer be available at the time of your visit. At the end of your visit, let the Foster Parent know which kitten(s) you would like to adopt, otherwise the kitten(s) will be available to the next person who meets them.
The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more.
Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.
** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate you're understanding and patience.
