Meet Laya and Luna, a gorgeous bonded sister pair looking for their forever home!
These sweet girls are a quiet duo who prefer to let their purrs do the talking. While they are very shy when meeting new people, they are deeply affectionate once they know they can trust you. In their foster home, they went from needing private hiding spots to happily greeting their foster parent at the door and competing for attention!
Laya is the ultimate lap cat and a gentle soul who absolutely thrives on human affection. Unlike her sister, Laya loves being picked up and carried around like a baby, and she will happily snooze in your lap for hours without needing any treat motivation at all. She is an expert at making the absolute best "air biscuits" when she is happy, and she deeply enjoys being pampered with a good brushing session.
Laya is a sweet, patient observer who gently lets her sister check out new things first, carefully watching everything so she can politely take her turn next. Her absolute favorite toy is a laser pointer, and she will happily chase that little red dot all day long. If you are looking for an incredibly sweet, well-behaved, and deeply loving companion to warm your lap, Laya is the perfect match for you!
The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more.
Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.
** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate you're understanding and patience.
