Meet Farhaneh! Pronouced " far-HAH-neh" meaning happy or joyful! She is a soft, purring bundle of love who's on a mission to live up to her name (and help fill your home with a little extra happiness, too).

Farhaneh is a world-class cuddle enthusiast and a firm believer that belly rubs should be given generously and often. Once you're in her inner circle, she'll stick by your side like your most loyal little shadow, always ready to keep you company.

She can be a bit shy when meeting new people-think "polite introvert at a party"-but give her a little time and she'll warm up into the sweetest, most devoted companion you could ask for. Her favorite people get her full affection, gentle companionship, and plenty of cozy moments together.

The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more.

Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.

** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate you're understanding and patience.
