Meet Sherlock! Sherlock is an independent guy who will ask for pets with a polite paw-pat or head-butt. He prefers getting attention on his terms and will enjoy relaxing next to you more than being on your lap. He enjoys window watching, sitting on top of his cat tree, and being in front of the fireplace. He's mostly a chill dude but does enjoy tossing around his toy mouse every once in a while. He would prefer a home where he is the only kitty.
The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more.
Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.

To meet this cat please come to Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119, between 1 - 5 pm one of on one of our open days, no appointment needed. We are open on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We are closed for adoptions on Monday, and all holidays.
From Foster Care (out of shelter):
