Hello everyone, are you looking for a handsome German Shepherd who is a bit silly, who loves life and everything that brings joy? I am a 5-year-old ‘big ham' of a dog that has been bunking and playing with the shelter volunteers since last June when I was found as a stray at Sunset Park. I wish my people would come and take me home, but I am sadly starting to think that they are not coming.
I am a happy, curious, loving, intelligent, and gentle mixed canine with soulful eyes and I enjoy walking and running on the trails, if you are up for it. My ears are kind of goofy with one going up and the other pointing to the left, but this adds to my charm. I enjoy being around kids especially if they take the time to give me neck rubs! I am a loyal canine, and I attach to people that make me feel loved, cared for and comfortable.
I need a family to keep me active and involved in their lives. Car rides might be a fun adventure. I hope that you have a fenced in secure yard where we can run and play fetch....its the best thing to help me release my energy. At the end of the day, I enjoy quiet time by your side, resting with you and I'm content just to be near my favorite people.
I am neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and house broken.
I would love to have you come and visit me as I keep getting passed by for one of the shelter puppies. Haven't you heard that mature dogs are better than puppies because we have predictable behavior, you can experience our personalities, we have often been trained on basic skills and have a long-life span ahead of us.
