I am a beautiful, gentle, happy, brave and playful 7-year-old golden retriever mix although I've been told that I look younger than my real age. I love working out by the kiddie pool to keep up my good looks and I go bananas for a romp through the water hose. I enjoy running, playing and having fun exploring.
I am a gentle soul and easy walker although I sometimes become afraid of other dogs and bark at them. There's a good chance that I am less sensitive to other dogs when not on a leash and just playing in my own space. I remember enjoying walks alongside my humans and cuddles are number one on my list of relaxation techniques that I enjoy a lot.
Did you notice my gorgeous and soulful brown eyes? There is a lot for you to discover with my personality, and I enjoy the presence of people of all ages. I am happy with being the only dog in your home so that I can have all your attention to myself.
I came to the shelter with my sister when our parent's living situation changed, and we couldn't stay together. I really miss not being with them especially since my younger sister has already been rescued from the shelter. I came here not feeling well with a kidney stone. I am all better now that I am eating a special kidney diet, but I cannot have treats because of my kidney issue so that's one less expense when you adopt me! Thankfully I am my former energetic and athletic self again.
