Did someone say "Blaze let's Go For a Ride!" I love long car rides and went on quite a few last month. I'd love to share this poem that a two legged friend of mine wrote about me:
Nine years old, a hound named Blaze
Worn smooth by sun and shelter days.
One year and a half he's watched the door,
On Sedona's bright red, dusty floor.
His coat is rich, his muzzle gray,
He only seeks a gentle way.
No puppy jumps, no frantic plea,
Just quiet, deep-set loyalty.
He dreams of slow walks, and a sigh,
a patch of sun where he can lie.
A final home, a velvet chair,
to spend his rest, held in soft care.
He holds a lifetime of good grace,
just waiting for that one embrace.
I am looking for a safe home where I can walk with you and enjoy my senior years. Please call the Humane Society of Sedona at (928)-282-4679 and set up a time to come in and say, "It's nice to meet you Blaze!" We are open from 10-4 every day of the week, except major Holidays.
