Squeaky here and I am looking for my Superhero's...can you be that family?
I'm a 3-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix who is super friendly, playful, affectionate, smart and eager to please my human companions. I love soft stuffy toys that squeak as the softness gives me comfort.
Staffordshire Terriers like me are known to be affectionate towards their families, very loving and we form lasting bonds with our humans. I am gentle even though my big head makes me look fierce to some people. I am a lovable goofy dog living in a muscle suit!
I came to the Sedona Humane Society after being found as a stray and I was adopted once but someone in the family had allergies, so I am back at the shelter. I am just a fun and loyal pup who hasn't yet found my forever playmates. I keep busy playing fetch with the volunteers, I love to splash in the kiddie pool and I am my happiest when hanging with people.
All I really want is someone to give me some love, gentleness and tender body rubs. I am a big snuggle bug at heart and will let you know that with "my lean". When I am ready for a good scratch or snuggle, it's my leaning into your leg or along your arm that lets you know it's snuggle time!
I am looking for a relaxing forever home and I do great with kids! I am learning to stop what I am doing and respond to my name when called in return for a kibble treat. I need to be the only dog in a home with a fenced in yard as I am not fond of other dogs in my space.
I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.
Here's an idea - come spend time with me at the shelter. We can hang out in the park, share some love, and get to know each other. The volunteers here know that I have a lot of love to share so bring the family and see how we all feel about each other.
