Meet Oatmeal, a sweet kitty who simply isn't suited for shelter life. Unfortunately, he's been fearful and stressed during his time with us, despite our best efforts to comfort him. Recently transferred from another animal care facility, we believe these transitions have been especially tough on Oatmeal. While it's been a challenge to fully understand his personality here, we're confident that with time, patience, and plenty of TLC, he will come out of his shell and become a wonderful companion in the right environment. With the patience and dedication of our staff and his foster home, Oatmeal is starting to blossom and show some of his wonderfully gentle and sweet personality with headbutts and soft purrs! Oatmeal is bonded with his friend Gerald.
Oatmeal would thrive in a calm, quiet household, and would do best in a home without dogs or young children. He does coexist with other cats peacefully. Do you have space in your home and heart for Oatmeal?
Meet Oatmeal at our shelter during public visiting hours (no appointment needed), Tues/Thurs/Fri 1-6pm or Sat 11am-3pm, or visit www.oahs.org/cat-adoption-process for more information about how to adopt.
All adoptable cats from OAHS are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for feline leukemia, litterbox trained and microchipped.
