Charlie is a loving, kind, and eager-to-please little sweetheart! She is also a tri-pawed! Having 3 legs does not slow her down at all; she loves walks and learning tricks. She is a special girl who would be a great family dog for an active and patient household. She would really love to be in a home where people are with her most of the day.
- Affectionate, smart, well-mannered girl
- Moderate energy level, loves to play fetch and go on daily walks
- Housetrained and crate-trained
- Knows basic commands
- Can be selective about dog friends. She did not like sharing her toys and treats with the last dog in her home so may be best as an only pet. No cats for Charlie.
- 5 years old, 58 pounds
- Suggested for children age 8 and up
- Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped
A note from Charlie's foster Dad:
"I feel so thankful and blessed to be the current foster dad to sweet amazing Charlie! After several years of fostering, Charlie is not only the smartest but also has the best manners.
Charlie loves to solve puzzles and is insanely aware of her surroundings. She is incredibly loyal and loves sitting with her people, happily taking up a small place on your bed or on the floor next to you and doesn't make a peep or move an inch!
Don't for a second think that her three-leg disability slows her down! I walk/jog with her daily at a brisk pace, and she loves retrieving balls as long as you're willing.
She LOVES people and especially children! Her herding instincts are evident when we walk past kids waiting for the bus, when she continues to look back at them as if saying "I need to gather those children up and take care of them."
Charlie is going to make some very lucky family incredibly happy!"
