My name is Wilby and I am one good looking boy, and I weigh about 30lbs. I came the shelter in the fall with a few other dogs, and we each were in crates and found by the roadside. The reason why I am still at the shelter with all of my cuteness is that I am a bit challenged. I am not into strangers, I take time to warm up to people and our staff have worked with me slowly to gain my trust, and I have made a lot of progress. I would require a few meet and greets before I could be adopted and I would do best as your one and only. I love toys and I walk good on a leash. Once I am comfortable with you I can be very affectionate and cuddly with my humans. I definitely have opinions - I need my green toy to go with me on walks as I like to carry it around....if I don't have my toy with me I will just be walking and barking the whole time!!! I am a good watch dog, and will bark to alert my humans, so apartment living would NOT be good for me. Ultimately, I would be prefer quiet, country living - I would do best in a home with out kids and visitors - I just need a simple stress free life to be happy!
