My name is Tia and I arrived at the shelter as a result of a cruelty/neglect case. I came in with another dog named Milo and both of us were very skinny and very afraid....I did gain more confidence as the staff have been helping me overcome my shyness and helping me to learn that the world isn't such a scary place....and people are my friends and want to take care of me. I would do best in a home without a lot of activity...I am looking for a calm home and looking for someone who has patience and is willing to go slow with me and I guarantee even though I am wallflower now...I want to blossom into social butterfly some day. With my human friends at the shelter - I am not shy with them at all... I pop right out of my shell and I run around out in the play yard....I will act silly and then drop to the ground to get some belly rubs!!!
