She came to us over two years ago with a small group of cats, all owner-surrendered by someone who could no longer care for them. One by one, her feline friends were adopted and whisked off to new lives. All but Tequila. She's the last one left, still waiting, still wishing.
With her silky black coat, snow-white chest patch, and mesmerizing blue-green eyes that shimmer like calm tropical waters, Tequila is a vision of quiet grace. At the shelter, she's often found lounging in her favorite wicker chair, gazing out the window or peacefully watching her kitty roommates play. She takes life in stride - observant, unhurried, and always content to be near the action without being at the center of it.
She also loves spending time with kind, easy-going people, especially those who understand that connection doesn't have to be loud to be meaningful. Though she enjoys soft pets, Tequila doesn't need constant attention to feel fulfilled. She's happy to do her own thing while you go about your day, and when you return, she'll be there to share your space in that comforting way only the best companions can.
