JJ has lived through more in his few years than most dogs ever will. He came to us after being seized from a hoarding situation as part of a legal case involving dozens of animals. Despite the neglect he endured early in life, JJ is a gentle soul with so much love to give!
He's a resilient guy-calm, observant, and endlessly patient. JJ enjoys soft beds, quiet corners, and gentle attention. He thrives in a peaceful home where he can feel safe and secure.
JJ does have a few special needs. He experiences seizures of unknown origin, which are currently being managed under veterinary supervision. He also has luxating patellas in both back legs, a condition that can make extended activity challenging. Because of this, JJ isn't a hiking buddy-but he is the perfect couch companion, cozy shadow, and hangout kind of guy!
