Meet Nina, a 6-month-old spayed female Australian Shepherd mix with a beautiful brindle coat and a sweet personality just waiting to shine!
Nina can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she gets to know you, she turns into a big love bug. She absolutely loves giving hugs and being close to her favorite people. She's also quite the foodie, so treats are definitely one of the quickest ways to earn her trust and become her new best friend.
She is still gaining confidence on the leash and will need a family willing to continue working with her as she learns. When it's time to play, rope toys are her favorite, and once those zoomies kick in, she is ready to go! Nina would do best in a house with a fenced-in backyard where she has plenty of room to run, play, and build her confidence.
We're not yet sure how Nina feels about other dogs, so a meet and greet will be required with any potential canine siblings.
Nina is looking for a patient, loving family who will give her the time she needs to settle in and show off the affectionate, playful girl hiding behind that initial shyness.
