Cinnamon is a 9 month old red American Pit Bull Terrier with a heart as warm as her name. This sweet girl hasn't had the easiest start in life. She arrived at the shelter with some patchy skin due to neglect in her previous home, but thanks to lots of TLC and proper treatment, she's well on her way to recovery and looking better every day.
Cinnamon is full of puppy-like enthusiasm and is always ready for her next adventure! She absolutely loves people and wants to soak up every bit of attention you have to give. Whether it's playtime, cuddle time, or simply being by your side, Cinnamon is happiest when she's with her favorite humans.
Toys are one of her favorite things in the world, and she's always up for a game! She's also incredibly treat-motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. Like many young dogs, Cinnamon is still learning her manners. She gets so excited for walks that she can forget to slow down, so a harness and plenty of positive reinforcement will help her become the wonderful walking companion she's meant to be.
She's also working on potty training. Because she never had a consistent routine before coming to us, she's still learning the basics. With a kennel, patience, and a predictable schedule, we know she'll catch on quickly and blossom into an amazing family dog.
Cinnamon is truly just a big puppy in an adult-sized body. She's looking for a family that understands she's still learning and is willing to give her the love, guidance, and patience she deserves. In return, she'll fill your home with laughter, goofy antics, endless affection, and unconditional love.
