Lachi is a spayed female Husky with a gorgeous red-and-white coat, a bright smile that never seems to fade, and a heart that's just as beautiful as she is. Despite not having the easiest start in life, Lachi hasn't let her past define her. She greets each day with a happy spirit and an eagerness to be loved.
When Lachi first arrived, it was clear she hadn't always received the care she deserved. The tips of her ears had been damaged by fly bites, but thanks to lots of TLC, they've healed tremendously and continue to improve. Now she's ready to leave her past behind and find the family she's always deserved.
Lachi is a sweet, playful girl who simply wants to be included in whatever you're doing. Whether you're out in the yard, taking a walk, or just spending time together, she's happiest when she's near her people. She loves seeing familiar faces walk by and is always hoping you'll stop to give her a few pets and kind words. Her joyful personality and constant smile are sure to brighten even the toughest days.
She already knows how to sit and loves treats, making training both fun and rewarding. While some have found her hesitant on a leash, she's done well on walks and enjoys getting out to explore. With her adaptable personality, Lachi could likely thrive in either an apartment or a house as long as she receives regular exercise and plenty of companionship.
Lachi is also wonderfully cooperative during bath time-a big plus for any Husky owner! Since Huskies have thick double coats, she'll need regular grooming to keep her looking her best. While she's still learning to enjoy brushing, she's making progress and will benefit from patient, positive reinforcement to help her become more comfortable with the process.
She appears to be dog-friendly, but as with all potential canine siblings, a meet-and-greet will be required to ensure everyone gets along.
