If I'm laying on the furniture or up off the floor, you can walk slowly up and pet my body first, then my face. I will lean right into your hand showing you how much I enjoy it. If I'm on the floor, you'll get some exercise following me hoping to pick me up. My instinct will be to run away from you, even though I know letting you catch me means I'm going to be loved on. You'll have to work for it, but at some point you'll be able to scruff and pick me up. As soon as you give me a cuddle, I'm putty in your hands and love being held. It will just take some practice to prove that I can trust and love you. Offer me treats, and squeeze up treats a little at a time so I see what good things your hands will bring when near me, and then I can look forward to you coming near. I'll be nervous in a new place without my siblings. Lighten the mood for me by having toys around and playing with our wand toy together. I also love running and playing on my own, or with a buddy, with my little toys, playing in tunnels and pop up tents or cubes. Motion activated toys that spin on the floor or in the air will bring me out of hiding in an instant and forget to be scared when playing with them. Experiencing my new home in a fun way will help me relax and show you my love and devotion as a blossom into a gorgeous and confident little lady!
