Meet Amy - a confident, cuddly, and clever pup ready to join you on every adventure!

Amy is a 4-month-old mixed breed puppy currently thriving in her foster home. She's the perfect mix of playful energy and affectionate sweetness, and she's looking for an active family to keep up with her love for life.

This smart girl is already showing just how trainable she is-she listens incredibly well, knows "sit," and is fully crate trained. Say the word "kennel," and she'll trot right in! She walks beautifully on a leash, staying close by your side, and she absolutely adores going on walks and hikes. Whether it's a neighborhood stroll or a trail in the woods, Amy is all in.

Amy gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and is playful and respectful with her canine friends. She's also fantastic with kids and people, greeting everyone with her cheerful, friendly spirit. Her confident and outgoing personality makes her a natural at adjusting to new environments and meeting new faces.

Of course, like any young pup, Amy is still learning the ropes. She's curious and occasionally gets into things or enjoys a good chew, so she'll need supervision and continued guidance as she grows. She does experience car sickness, so short trips and patience while she gets more comfortable will be important.

At the end of a busy, playful day, Amy loves to snuggle up and be close-she's as affectionate as they come. If you're looking for a happy, social, and smart puppy who will grow into a loyal, adventurous companion, Amy is more than ready to be your new best friend.

****
Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
