I first fostered Snoopy when he was almost four months old, and he completely stole my heart. He was smart, eager to learn, and incredibly sweet. I later brought him back home from the shelter to give him a refresher on home life and a break from the stressful shelter environment, and I'm still currently fostering him now at 10 months old. Snoopy is currently about 55 lbs and has settled right back into home life like a pro.

Snoopy is fully crate trained, sleeps through the night, and when let out, immediately takes care of business. He knows sit, stay, come, and shake - especially if treats are involved (and he really loves treats). He's leash trained and truly a "dog's dog." He'll happily play with anyone and will even jump into the pool (only if it's shallow! He's clumsy and still doesn't quite know how to swim yet!) if that's where the fun is - though his coordination can be adorably questionable at times.

One of Snoopy's most endearing qualities is his sweet, slightly clumsy nature. Nothing really bothers him. He sees the world as one big, beautiful playground filled with friends, fun, and hopefully snacks. Shelter life doesn't show his best side - it can be stressful and overwhelming for him. But in a home, Snoopy is laid-back and goofy. He just needs a family who is patient with him and will continue giving him structure, love, and the chance to be the happy, silly boy he is.

Because of his playful energy and size, older children are recommended. Snoopy also cannot go to a home with cats. Please contact his foster, Patty, at 713-464-0455 or pattyschrab@yahoo.com for more details. (ps 5/17/2026)
