Meet Winston, a young, energetic dog with a zest for life that's inspiring! He's the epitome of friendly, always eager to greet new faces with a wagging tail and desire for attention. He knows he needs to work on the jumping but he just gets so darned excited. Winston loves playing with other dogs and is easygoing and friendly but sometime a bit rough. Once upon a time he was bossy with cats but in a recent foster home, he just ignored them. He's growing up. He has never lived with children but his size (53 pounds), enthusiastic jumping, and use of his mouth when excited make him most suitable for a home with older children so he'll need to live with kids at least 12 years old. Despite his playful nature, he's also incredibly cuddly and brave, always curious about the world around him. While he does need some training to manage his noisy enthusiasm, his sociable butterfly spirit makes him a delightful companion. He is still perfecting house training and leash walking so please be patient with him but he is crate trained. He may know some commands like sit and come and is occasionally working on down, no, and off when he's in the mood. He hopes you like to stay active because he loves fetch, running, tugging, toys, chase and wrestling. Winston is ready to bring joy and adventure to a loving home.
