Meet Rex, a young canine resident of our shelter. His energy is a joy to behold, making every day a playful adventure. He weighs 33 pounds and likes agility and running most of all. He's mellow and curious, a perfect blend of calm and inquisitive. Rex loves cuddling, often seeking a warm lap to snuggle into. Though he can be submissive, his protective instincts shine through, making him a loyal companion. Rex is wonderfully well-behaved around children of all ages, showing a gentle and patient demeanor that makes him a fantastic family pet. When it comes to other dogs, Rex is equally sociable and just a little cautious. Rex is a bit of a chewer and can be jumpy, indicating he needs a little training. But with patience and love, he'll surely blossom into an even more wonderful pet. He knows the sit command but he'll need help with leash walking and house training too. If he runs away while off leash, he'll come back if you call him. He was given up because he was too much responsibility- no fault of his own.
