Bio: After spending some time in my home for a break from the shelter here is what I've learned about Callie. She LOVES to be petted, but does not enjoy being picked up. She takes awhile to warm up to you, but once she does you become her favorite person.
Her favorite things are to bat around paper balls, lounge on a nice folded towel and ask you to pet her by rubbing up against you or your hand. She is one super cute little lady who happens to also be a good listener.
She does not seem to mind other cats, she tolerates them and will need a slow introduction at first. Due to her history of urinary issues caused by stress and her dislike for being picked up I recommend that she go to a home with kids 12 years of age and older. She will also need to be on a Urinary diet lifelong.
She can be snuggly at times and enjoys laying near you or on you once she's warmed up to you. I think she is a wonderful cat that just needs someone with a lot of patience and understanding to spend some time with her.
