Meet Bella, a lovable and energetic adult dog with a powerful zest for life. Friendly and cuddly, she loves being a lap dog despite her 66 pounds and her playful and curious nature. Bella is quite jumpy and cautious, often making noise to alert you of her concerns. She enjoys digging and has a habit of chewing, indicating she would benefit from some training. She is also still working on leash walking and house training so please be patient with her. Bella is wonderfully social, getting along famously with some dogs, cats, and children, though her play can be a bit rough. CAP requires that Bella meet with other dogs that will be living in the household. Protective yet incredibly affectionate, Bella is the perfect companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and has the time to nurture her lively spirit. She likes running, toys, walks, and water (but not baths). She knows the sit and off commands. She was given up because her family didn't have enough time for her.
