Hi there, I'm David Bowie - a classic hound with a soulful howl and a heart full of love. I'm always excited to show you my favorite things, and if you don't give me attention... well, get ready for my signature sad puppy dog eyes. They're hard to resist!
Like many hounds, I've got a big voice and an even bigger personality, with lots of energy! but I'm also a little sensitive. I'm still working on building my confidence and learning how to handle the big, busy world. When I get overwhelmed-especially with too much new stuff or a crowd of strangers-I can get a bit panicky. I'm looking for a home where I can be the only pet as other animals can get me a bit riled up. I'd also like to have a home without small children as they make me uncomfortable even though I know they don't mean to.
I'm looking for a patient and understanding buddy who can help me feel safe, go slow, and guide me through socialization and new experiences at my pace. With the right person, I know I can shine just like my namesake.
