Meet Bubble, a shy but curious young cat who was part of the large 52-cat intake we conducted a few weeks ago. At around a year old, Bubble is still learning how to trust the world-but there's a quiet strength in her gentle spirit.
More curious than she first lets on, Bubble will often "stalk" you from across the room, quietly observing before deciding whether to come closer. She values her independence and prefers to approach on her own terms. While she doesn't mind being held, it's not her favorite thing-she's more comfortable with gentle interaction and patient companionship.
Bubble has been treated for fleas, but she's very allergic to them. When she arrived, she had scratched much of the fur off her back half-so even though it's growing back nicely now, she still looks a bit like she's not wearing any pants. It doesn't bother her, and it certainly doesn't take away from her quirky charm.
She currently shares her space with another one-year-old female named Creek. The two get along well, though they don't need to be adopted together.
Bubble is looking for a calm, respectful home where she can continue to heal, build confidence, and enjoy life at her own pace. If you love a cat with character, curiosity, and a one-of-a-kind look, Bubble might be the one for you.
