Meet Rowdy, a smart, playful, and sweet 3-month-old cattle dog pup who's ready to find a forever home of her own. After spending time in foster care, Rowdy is now waiting to meet her new family at our Alliance PetSmart Adoption Center-and she's more than ready to win your heart.
Rowdy is doing great with her house-training and, so far, hasn't had any accidents indoors. She's curious and active inside the home, always exploring or playing with her favorite squeaky toys and water. Like any puppy, she loves to chew, but she typically sticks to her own toys. She can settle down quickly after activity and enjoys cuddling up with her people when it's time to rest.
She's been around other medium and large dogs, young dogs, and children of all ages-and she's done beautifully with all of them. Rowdy may get a little jumpy when excited, especially with kids, but it comes from a place of happy energy. She hasn't met cats yet, but she hasn't shown any fears or sensitivities in new environments.
Rowdy knows how to sit and is quickly picking up new commands. While she might start a walk with a little extra energy, she's easily redirected and settles down well. She travels great in the car, loves water play, and is happiest when she's busy and engaged.
Her foster shared:
"Took Rowdy for an overnight and she is a wonderful little pup. Dog friendly. Kid friendly (can get a little jumpy from excitement but enjoys playing with kids). Really sweet and super smart. Easy to walk-she might start with a little extra energy but she is easily redirected and calms down for the rest of the walk. LOVES to play with water and squeaky toys."
