Meet Clifford - a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a gentle heart, fluffy coat, and a bark that politely reminds you when snack service is running behind. Clifford was a public drop-off, but you'd never guess he came from uncertain circumstances. He's dog friendly and did great during his dog test after a recent walk. While he doesn't appear to know "sit" just yet, he takes treats politely (even if he barks a little to speed things up).
Clifford is easy to walk-he starts out with some tension on the leash but quickly relaxes and ambles along, enjoying the sights and smells. His kennel was clean, and he clearly understands the importance of potty breaks. He's an amiable guy who loves meeting new people and happily leans in for head rubs and cuddles.
This sweet boy is heartworm positive, but don't let that stop you-the shelter will cover the cost of treatment. Clifford is not a fan of fences (he can escape the play yards), so he's currently leash-walk only and would do best in a home that can provide him with secure supervision and lots of love.
