Attica? Yes, I was found in an attic by a Paws and Claws volunteer back in April, and that might be how I got my name. The name Attica has links to famous people in the ancient Roman empire. But Attica is also a Greek name. The name comes from a region called Attica in Greece, which is known as a center for the arts, philosophy, and democracy. I'm not political, but I'm demo-cat-ic"! I get along well with the other cats in my room! I am shy around people, however, and I often feel safest if I have a hiding place. Maybe that philosophy comes from being alone in the attic. I do like being petted, however, once I know I can trust someone. I am a lovely brown tabby girl, so why not enjoy the arts? Who says cats don't appreciate music and beauty? I hope a special someone will appreciate me and choose me to be their pretty Attica girl.
