Miss Honey is such a sweet and special little girl. She is the smallest of her siblings but we would say she's probably the toughest too. She does have a heart defect. She has PDA which stands for Patent Ductus Arteriosus. It is a congenital heart defect where a blood vessel connecting the aorta and pulmonary artery, which normally closes shortly after birth, remains open. She can live a fairly normal life, the downside is we do not know how long she will live. Because of her diagnosis, her heart could give our sooner or she could live for years. We know that Honey is worth it though, regardless of how much time we get with her.
