Cheesecake came to us as a stray through Animal Control. It took him weeks before he was allowing anyone to touch him but he finally opened up one day and allowed us to pet him. He even showed us that he knows all about elevator butts and affection! Since moving up to that adoption floor, he is still very shy and reserved but hasn't acted out once! With a lot of time and patience, we know he would love to live in a home where he can get spoiled and sleep on soft beds. He will need a dedicated owner who will simply just give him the time he needs to come around. While we would love to see that as an outcome for him, we would also send him as a farm/barn cat. He would need proper shelter, food and water access.
