Hamlet is a really nice boy and he is great with other kitties! He is a bit of a delicate flower, and nervous with new people and in new environments. He would do best with other cat friends in the home.
Hamlet has had a couple of homes that haven't worked out, which is a scary bit of information for potential adopters, we know! BUT, the GOOD news is that because we have these experiences with him, we have a very clear picture of what he likes and doesn't like, and what the next home will need for him to be successful!
Once he has settled in and he knows you, he is VERY AFFECTIONATE! He especially likes kids, but not always in the middle of a lot of action. Once the kids have started to settle down at the end of the day, Hamlet will choose to hang out with them over the adults. He'll also choose to sleep with the kids most of the time.
He is GREAT with ALL other cats, and would not be happy as an only cat. He'd be an easy addition to almost any cat group.
He is a bit of a nervous nelly. If you have Thanksgiving dinner at your home, it is not likely that you will see him at all, and maybe not the day after, either. A lot of unknown people and a lot of action and activity are far too much for his sensitive soul! Give him a quiet room during the chaos and a day after to recover, and he'll be good as new.
Knowing him as well as we do, we are CONFIDENT we can help you transition this special boy into your family!
