Duke is a sweet, sensitive boy who just needs a little time to feel safe-and once he does, his affectionate and playful personality really begins to shine. He may be a bit shy at first and might hang back when meeting new people, but with a few treats and a gentle approach, Duke quickly starts to warm up and show his loving side.
After just a short time with familiar faces, Duke has already begun seeking out attention, leaning in for pets, and even rolling onto his back with a soft, happy demeanor. He truly enjoys being around people he trusts and will check in often, making him a wonderful companion once that bond is built.
Duke is very food motivated, which will be a big help in continuing his training. He's still learning leash manners and may pull ahead on walks, but he's manageable and will benefit from some consistency and guidance as he gains confidence. He also has a playful streak-he loves to chase toys and interact, even if he's still figuring out exactly what to do with them!
