Cheer up your days with a Daisy!

Daisy has a warm heart and is ready to brighten your home with colour! Rescued from a multi-cat situation, this little petal has slowly blossomed during her time with EHS. Like those first rays of sunshine on a cold spring morning, Daisy may take a little while to warm up; you could say she's a late bloomer. She has long been preparing to be repotted, and all she needs now is a nice, caring family to help her thrive.

ABOUT DAISY
- At Shelter
-With her foster family, Daisy was an explorer who loved sleeping in and basking in sunbeams, spending her awake time snooping around her foster home; there was never a time she wasn't curious! She has even been known to sniff feet (just making sure they're clean!) when she's investigating someone.
-Daisy likes to observe people, especially from a distance, or whenever her foster was blow-drying their hair. Lately, she's been observing from the safety of her cubby or on top of her cat tree, watching the activity outside her kennel.
-Although she isn't a huge fan of human affection, she'll allow some gentle scratches on the side of her face once she's comfortable with you. She's easily swayed by tasty treats!
-Daisy is a skittish cat who has had minimal experience with humans.
-Some skittish cats may remain reserved, while others may express their trust and affection in a variety of ways.
-Daisy is currently enrolled in EHS's socialization program, where dedicated volunteers are working to help her become more comfortable around people.
-We should also note that Daisy has inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), which will be monitored with lifelong, daily medication and special dieting. She is currently working with the vet to get it under control and will require a family who can support her medical needs. This good girl happily takes her medicine in a pill pocket, just like a treat!
-Daisy is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.

DAISY'S IDEAL HOME
-Daisy's favourite pastimes are relaxing in quiet solitude (often buried in a warm pile of blankets) or watching her neighbours in the next kennel.
-A skittish cat will benefit from a calm, quiet environment, preferably without small children or dogs.
-Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help Daisy settle into her new environment. EHS will provide post-adoption support to assist Daisy with a successful transition to her forever home.

If you're ready to welcome this pretty posy into your home, look no further! Daisy has been waiting for the perfect family to establish her roots while outshining your indoor garden in the process. Submit an application today!
