Oh me, oh my, it's O'Malley!

The adventures that this boy had before arriving at EHS are unknown, but O'Malley has the luck of the Irish on his side and is now on the road to a better life! His first journey was from hiding under blankets, perhaps giving some protective swats, to a more confident, inquisitive, friendly fellow.

ABOUT O'MALLEY
- At shelter
- O'Malley has a wonderfully curious personality.
- While he was in foster, he enjoyed sitting on the windowsill, gazing out with his expressive eyes. Now, at the shelter, he moved from accepting pets with the back-scratcher, to showing off his belly and head bumping volunteers to ask for pets-and purring with delight while making air biscuits.
- He's also become a little chatty, greeting volunteers at meal time with his chirpy, sweet meow.
- O'Malley loves to play both independently and while supervised with wand toys. He now thinks that the back-scratcher is a toy for him to catch and lounge on!
- O'Malley graduated from EHS's socialization program, where dedicated volunteers worked to help him become more comfortable around people.
- O'Malley is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and has received core vaccinations.

O'MALLEY'S IDEAL HOME
- Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help O'Malley settle into his new environment. EHS will provide post-adoption support to assist O'Malley with a successful transition to his forever home.
- We aren't sure yet how O'Malley feels about other cats.

As the Irish proverb says, "A best friend is like a four-leaf clover: hard to find and lucky to have." Are you O'Malley's undiscovered best friend? If so, reach out to us today!
