Meet Moon: one small cat, one giant leap into your heart!
This handsome space traveller arrived at EHS from another shelter after he was found navigating the streets. Not much is known about his past, but we do think Moon has stories to tell about his adventures in galaxies far, far away.
ABOUT MOON:
- At shelter
- He is described as sweet, shy, affectionate, and he loves to be pet!
- Moon has FIV, which is a virus that weakens the immune system of a cat but is not transmissible to humans or other species.
- Moon is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
MOON'S IDEAL HOME:
- Cats who have FIV can live just as long as other cats if they are properly cared for with a good diet, an indoor home, and a loving family.
- Moon does not require medication but vet checkups twice a year are recommended.
- Moon is good with cats (Fellow FIV+ felines only, please!), but we're unsure how he feels about other pets or small children.
- Moon would do best with a family who can provide the time, space, and attention he so desires.
- Moon is available on a foster-to-adopt basis. Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help him settle into his new environment. EHS will provide post-adoption support to assist Moon with a successful transition to his forever home and ensure a plan is in place for his long-term health and well-being.
Now that Moon has returned to Earth and packed up his spacesuit, he's ready to land in the arms of a loving family. Are you ready for Moon to eclipse your heart?
